17 July 2012 – Armed Robbery – Coombabah Road – Biggera Waters

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a boy at Biggera Waters this afternoon.
Just after 2pm, a 15-year-old boy was waiting for a bus on Coombabah Road when he was approached by a man who produced what was believed to be a firearm.
The man then stole the boy’s bag which contained a mobile phone and other items before fleeing on foot.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20s, approximately 180cm tall with a proportionate build and dark brown hair.
