Police have arrested two men after a convenience store was robbed at knife-point in Sydney’s west last night.

About 11.45pm (Friday 27 July), an employee at the convenience store on Wentworth Avenue in Pendle Hill was threatened with a knife.

The man was forced to hand over cash and was left with a superficial wound to his neck.

Police were quickly on scene and a perimeter was established.

A police dog was also called to the scene and it helped to track down two males in a nearby park.

Police arrested the pair and seized a knife believed to have been used in the robbery.

The proceeds of the robbery were also recovered.

Police are currently interviewing the two men, aged 20 and 36, at Parramatta Police Station.
