Detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch have today charged a 33-year-old Waterford man with six counts of armed robbery following investigations into robbery offences which occurred in May 2012 across the Logan district.
Detectives executed a search warrant at a Waterford address yesterday morning and detained the man.
Five of the charges relate to alleged armed robberies of liquor outlets; May 13 at Loganlea, May 16 at Hillcrest, May 19 at Kingston, May 20 at Rochedale South and also on May 21 at Beenleigh. As well as the alleged armed robbery of an Underwood convenience store on May 22.
The man is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today
