28 August 2012 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Runaway Bay

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station on Broadwater Road at Runaway Bay early this morning.
Around 2am, a man threatened the store attendant with a knife before fleeing the store on foot with a sum of money and cigarettes.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being in his 20s or 30s with a slim build and approximately 175cm tall.
At the time of the offence he was wearing a blue/black striped hoodie, blue jeans, blackface mask and black gloves.
