6 October 2012 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Ormeau

Police are investigating the armed robbery of an Ormeau service station early this morning.
Around 4.30am a man entered the Peachey Road business and threatened the console operator claiming to be armed.
After obtaining a quantity of cash the man also took an item from the shop before running away.
He is described as being of African appearance and of slim build. He was wearing sunglasses, a black hooded jumper with a white pattern, black pants and white shoes.
The 20-year-old male console operator was not physically injured.
