Police from Harbourside Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed robbery in North Sydney overnight.
Just before 11.30pm (Tuesday 16 October, 2012) two men entered a hotel on Union Street armed with knives.
The men threatened two employees who were inside the hotel, demanding they empty the tills and the safe.
The men ran from the premises with a sum of cash.
A crime scene was established while forensic police and detectives attend and investigate.
