Detectives investigating separate armed robberies in the street at the Gold Coast on Monday morning have arrested and charged two youths.
A 15-year-old Broadbeach Waters boy has been charged with four counts of armed robbery in company and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 16-year-old Ashmore boy has been charged with three counts of armed robbery in company and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He has also been charged on unrelated matters with enter premises and commit indictable offence and stealing.
Both will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.
