Police are investigating after a fast food store at Holland Park was robbed by a man armed with a knife early this morning.

Around 12.10am a man smashed a glass door at the Logan Road business, forcing his way inside and confronted the four staff members, demanding money.

After obtaining a quantity of cash the man fled the store.

Police arriving on the scene sighted the man running from the store and chased him on foot causing him to drop the money which was later recovered by police. The man managed to escape officers and was last seen on Steele Street.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall and of skinny build. He was wearing a Halloween mask, khaki long sleeve top and black long trousers.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
