Police have charged four people after an armed robbery at a bottle shop at Forest Lake last night.

Initial information suggests around 8.30pm two men entered the Joseph Banks Roadstore, one armed with a knife and threatened the attendant. The second man then stole a quantity of cash from the register before they both left to a waiting vehicle.

The attendant was not injured during the incident.

A 20-year-old woman from Rocklea, a 19-year-old man from Redbank Plains and an 18-year-old man from St Leonards (NSW) have been charged with armed robbery in company and enter premises with intent.

A 19-year-old man from New Auckland has also been charged with stealing, armed robbery in company and enter premises with intent.

All are scheduled to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court today
