Police from the Liverpool Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed robbery at Casula.
About 2.15am, (Thursday 1 November, 2012), a man armed with a handgun, entered a service station on the Hume Highway.
Once inside, the man threatened a staff member and demanded money.
The attendant handed over an amount of cash and cigarettes.
The man left the service station and headed towards Graham Avenue.
A crime scene was established at the location and detectives from Liverpool will continue their investigations.
The man is described as being Caucasian appearance, thin build and wearing dark clothing.
No one was injured during the robbery.
