Detectives have charged a 29-year-old New South Wales male as investigations continue into the alleged armed robbery of a Grange convenience store last night.

Around 10.20pm, two men entered the Days Road store and allegedly threatened the male store attendant with a knife before fleeing with a sum of cash and cigarettes.

The male attendant was not injured during this incident.

Police are still seeking public assistance to identify a man, pictured, they believe may be able to assist with enquiries.

He is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, aged in his early 20s, approximately 185cm tall, with a pierced left ear and a proportionate build. He was wearing a dark blue hooded jumper, blue three-quarter length shorts, a white bandanna and a blue shoulder bag at the time.

The 29-year-old is due to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow on one count of armed robbery.
