2 November 2012 – Armed Robbery – Takeaway Business – Pialba

Police are investigating the attempted robbery of a takeaway shop in Pialba this evening.
Around 8pm, two men have entered the business on Boat Harbour Drive through the rear of the business.
Both men were wearing balaclavas and one has demanded cash and attempted to pick up the cash register.
The staff have then approached the man, and both men have then fled the store.
As they have fled, one of the men grabbed an employees hand bags.
No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The two men are believed to be between 18-21 years-of-age and were both wearing balaclavas.
Police investigations are continuing.
