Detectives are investigating after the armed robbery of a convenience store at Keperra by a man armed with a knife this evening.
Around 5.15pm, a man entered the store on Gilston Street and threatened the male attendant with a knife before fleeing with a sum of cash from the till.
The 39-year-old male attendant was not physically injured during the incident.
The offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, between 175 and 180cms tall, aged in his early 20s and of a tanned complexion with brown eyes.
The man was wearing a black hooded jumper, a white cap, a white bandana, dark blue shorts with white stripes down both sides, and white running shoes at the time.
