Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Kuraby convenience store last night.
Around 9pm, a man entered the Beenleigh Road store and threatened the male staff member with a knife.
He fled the scene with a sum of cash and cigarettes and was last seen on foot.
The man is described as being aged between 18 and 21, around 177cm tall with a dark complexion, a muscular build and short black hair.
He was wearing a long sleeved gray jumper and brown pants.
