Police are searching for a man who is believed to have indecently assaulted three women in Clayton over the past three months.
All three victims are of Asian decent, aged in their early 20s and were attacked between 6-7.30pm in the vicinity of the Monash Medical Centre.
In the latest incident, 24-year-old Clayton woman was walking east along Iona Street while talking on her phone when a man grabbed her from behind and attempted to drag her backwards on Tuesday.
The victim has dropped to the ground and screamed, causing the male to release her and flee about 7.30pm.
In the first incident, a 20-year-old Clayton woman was pushing a shopping trolley along Kanooka Grove about 7pm on 16 April.
She has walked past a man who has then turned around and grabbed her from behind, before releasing her and running in a southerly direction along Kanooka Grove.
A week later another woman, was walking home along Dooga Streets when she was grabbed from behind and pushed to the ground about 6pm on 23 April.
The offender is perceived as being of Asian or Indian Sub-continental in appearance, between 168-178cm tall, with a medium build and short, dark curly hair.
In two of the incidents he was reported to be wearing a beige jacket or fleecy top and sandals.
