Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station in Newtown, Toowoomba yesterday afternoon.
Initial information indicates a woman approached a female employee at the back of the West Street shop as she was emptying rubbish around 5.10pm.
She demanded money from the attendant and forced her back into the store while threatening her with a knife.
The offender fled with a sum of money from the till and was last seen heading west along Russell Street.
She is described as Caucasian in appearance and around 150cm tall. She was wearing dark jeans and a white jumper
