Detectives have charged two men following their investigations into a number of alleged armed robberies in the South Brisbane area.

The alleged robberies occurred between April 24 and June 6 at Woolloongabba, South Brisbane, Highgate Hill and East Brisbane.

A 25-year-old Yeronga man has been charged with seven counts of armed robbery, one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence and one count of contravene a requirement.  He is expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A 22-year-old Woodridge man has been charged with seven counts of armed robbery and one count of possess utensils or pipes etc that had been used.  He is expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
