June 21, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Supermarket – Craigie

Police have charged a 46 year old man after it will be alleged he attempted to hold up a

supermarket in Craigie this morning.

At around 7:00am the man entered the store on Eddystone Avenue, armed with a loaded

gun. He threatened a staff member and demanded money from the safe.

The man fled the store on foot when he was unable to get access to the safe.

The Dianella man has been charged with Attempted Armed Robbery, Possess Unlicensed

Firearm and Breach of Bail. He will appear in the Perth Magistrate’s Court tomorrow 22 June

2011.
