Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed at knifepoint in Sydney’s inner west yesterday.
About 12.30pm (22 June), the 28-year-old man was on foot at the intersection of Crystal and Trafalgar Streets, Petersham, when he was approached by two men.
One of the men walked past the victim, then produced a knife and turned to face the victim front-on. The second man also produced a knife, reaching from behind to place it against the victim’s neck.
The men went through the victim’s pockets before escaping with an amount of cash.
They were last seen running across Crystal Street towards Stanmore Railway Station.
One of the men is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm tall, with a round face and small build. He was wearing denim shorts, a light-blue polo T-shirt, white runners and a baseball cap.
The other offender is described as being of Caucasian appearance, over 183cm tall, with a solid build. He was wearing a baggy tracksuit.
