Police investigating the alleged armed robbery of a video store in Batemans Bay earlier this week have today arrested a man in Canberra.
About 7.30pm on Sunday 19 June, a man allegedly entered the store in Orient Street and threatened two staff members with a knife, demanding cash.
He was handed a sum of cash before running from the store.

Following inquiries, and with the assistance of the Australian Federal Police (AFP), a 26-year-old man was arrested in Manuka, ACT, about 1pm today.
He has since been extradited to NSW and taken to Queanbeyan Police Station where he was subsequently charged with robbery whilst armed.
The man was refused bail to appear in Queanbeyan Local Court tomorrow, Saturday 25 June
