Two aggravated robberies last night at Golden Grove and Para Hills are linked as police will allege the same offenders following the review of security vision.
Just after 6pm, two men entered a deli on The Golden Way and threatened the staff member with a firearm and a baseball bat demanding money.
The staff member refused and they left empty handed.
Police also received a report of a person who was threatened with the firearm in the car park of the deli shortly before the robbery and this will be a part of the police investigation.
About an hour later, two men armed with knives threatened the console operator at the Caltex service station on Bridge Road and ran off with a small amount of cash.
Both offenders were wearing hooded tops, one a grey hoodie with a white cloth or similar covering his face and tracksuit pants with a rip on one leg.
The other wore a green hooded top.
It is thought they had a vehicle waiting nearby on both occasions.
