Eastern Adelaide Police are investigating if two robberies overnight on West Terrace in the city are linked. 

Just before 8pm, a man armed with a knife threatened the console operator at the Coles Express Service station on West Terrace, demanding cash and cigarettes. 

He fled on foot south towards Gouger Street. 

Then just after 2.30 this morning, a man wearing a balaclava and armed a knife threatened staff at the Hungry Jack’s on West Terrace, he fled with cash on a push scooter south, last seen in the vicinity of Sturt Street. 

There were no injuries from either robbery. 

Police are checking security vision from both incidents but it appears both robberies are linked
