Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Salisbury, where a service station attendant was threatened with a knife.

About 4.15am, a man armed with a knife entered the service station on the Salisbury Highway and threatened a female staff member, before stealing cash and running away towards Spains Road.

The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, tanned complexion, clean shaven, about 160cm tall, medium build, and was wearing a black hooded jumper with a white logo, light blue tracksuit pants, and black/white shoes.
