A Salisbury service station was robbed by a woman who produced a syringe this morning.

Just before 10am on Wednesday 24 October, a woman entered the Commercial Road service station and stole drinks and food.

The woman attempted to leave the premises with the stolen items when a staff member confronted her.  The suspect produced a syringe and threatened the attendant before leaving on foot, walking west over Commercial Road.

The attendant was not physically injured during the robbery.  Police searched the area but have not yet located the suspect.  Enquiries are continuing.
