Two men have been charged following an incident in Palm Cove yesterday afternoon.
It will be alleged the pair went to a home on Coral Coast Drive armed with a bat and threatened a 40-year-old man.
It is further alleged they stole personal property before leaving in a car.
A 44-year-old New South Wales man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and possession of a utensil.
A 26-year-old Edmonton man has been charged with one count of armed robbery.
They have been held in custody to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today.
