Detectives in Sydney’s west are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery on a Seven Hills bottle shop overnight.
Just before 7.30pm (Saturday 14 May), three males – all wearing dark-coloured clothing, balaclavas and brandishing knives – entered the Best Road store and threatened an employee.
The trio demanded cash from the register and cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot.
The offenders ran south along Alice Street before getting into a dark-coloured vehicle and driving away at speed.
Police from Blacktown Local Area Command and the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit attended the scene and carried out inquiries.
Local detectives are now appealing for public assistance as they try to identify and locate those responsible.
