A seventh teenager has been arrested and charged in relation to an alleged assault and robbery at a convenience store at Bankstown in Sydney’s south-west.
About 1.45pm today (Sunday 31 July 2011), a 14-year-old male was arrested at a home in Vincennes Avenue at Tregear.
He was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station and questioned in relation to an alleged incident at 10.30pm on Tuesday (26 July 2011) at a store in Chapel Street at Bankstown.
The teenager has been charged with aggravated robbery and inflict actual bodily harm, and refused bail to appear at Parramatta Childrens Court tomorrow (Monday 1 August 2011).
Six youths appeared in court on Wednesday (27 July 2011) charged with various offences in relation to Tuesday’s incident, during which a 26-year-old store attendant was allegedly punched repeatedly, and a number of packets of cigarettes were stolen.
