Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Heidelberg last night.
Investigators have been told a man approached staff closing the liquor section of a supermarket in Burgundy Street about 8pm asking to buy liquor.
The male and female staff member informed him the liquor section was closed before he produced a conducted energy device, activating it away from the pair.
He demanded money before ushering both staff inside the supermarket and demanded they go to the rear of the store.
The bandit then fled the scene on foot into the rear car park with an amount of cash.
