Police have charged four youths following the serious assault of a man at Ettalong at the weekend.

The charges relate to an incident that occurred shortly after 2.30pm (Sunday 31 July 2011), where a man was found suffering serious head injuries on Burrenjoey Road.

The 46-year-old remains in a critical condition in Royal North Shore Hospital suffering a fractured skull.

Officers from Brisbane Water Local Area Command yesterday charged two boys aged 16 and 17, with robbery in company causing grievous bodily harm.

They were refused bail and will appear in Woy Woy Children’s Court today.

Two other boys, aged 16, have been charged with knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime.

They were given conditional bail and will appear in Woy Woy Children’s Court on August 19.

Investigations continue.
