Police are appealing for public assistance after an armed robbery in Sydney’s inner west last night (Wednesday 10 August).
Police were called to a hotel on Unwins Bridge Road, St Peters, about 10.30pm after two men smashed their way into the premises using concrete blocks.
The men, including one armed with a firearm, threatened the manager before escaping with a sum of cash. They were last seen driving from the scene in a dark-coloured car.
No-one was injured as a result of the robbery.
Police established a crime scene at the hotel and specialist officers from the Forensic Armed Robbery Unit were in attendance.
