Police are investigating a series of armed robberies that have occurred at fast food restaurants in the western suburbs.

The first robbery occurred at Kings Road and Taylors Road, Delahey on Sunday 15 May around 4.30am.

Two men entered the restaurant and threatened staff with knives.

Staff were forced to hand over cash and the men then fled the store.

The next robbery occurred at St Albans Road, St Albans on Friday 20 May around 9.30pm.

Again two men entered the store brandishing knives and forced the staff to hand over the days’ takings before fleeing.

The final robbery occurred at the same St Albans restaurant on Friday 15 July around 11.15pm.

On this occasion two men used knives to threaten staff through the drive-thru window.

One of the men leaned in through the window and stole cash from the register.

The men then ran off towards the rear of the store.

Police have released images of two men that they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
