Police are appealing for information following an alleged robbery in Sydney’s north-west.

About 11.45pm yesterday (Friday 2 September 2011), a 21-year-old pizza delivery driver was approached by a man on Warrawong Street, Eastwood.

The man threatened the driver with a knife and demanded money.

The man left the area and was last seen running north along Warrawong Street.

Police were called and a canvass of the area was conducted, however the man could not be located.

The driver was not injured during the robbery.

Police are searching for a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being aged in his late 20’s, with dark complexion and a goatee-beard. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark jeans and white shoes.
