Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred at a Labrador service station last night.
Around 7.45pm a man entered the premises on Government Road and produced what appeared to be hand gun.
He threatened a male console operator and demanded money be placed in a bag which he had placed on the counter. A customer arrived at the service station and the man fled empty handed.
He was last seen running south along Government Road.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man was wearing a black hooded jumper with white stitching across the hood and white writing on the chest, black trousers and black shoes with white soles.
