September 7, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Business Premises – Currumbin Waters

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred at a Currumbin Waters store this morning.
Around 10.20am a man entered the shop on Bienvenue Drive and produced a knife.
He threatened a male staff member and demanded money from the till, however the man left empty handed.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man was last seen running from the store. He is described as being Caucasian, late teens to early twenties, around 170cm tall with a slim build. He was wearing a green jumper and black sunglasses.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
