September 11, 2011 – Armed Robbery – IGA Supermarket – Taperoo

Police are currently searching the Taperoo area following a robbery a short time ago.

At about 3.15pm a man armed with a knife threatened staff at the IGA supermarket on Gedville Road and stole cash from the till.

The male suspect is described as of aboriginal appearance about 160cm with a shaved head, wearing sunglasses a dark hooded top and track pants.

He was last seen running towards Railway Terrace, anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the police assistance line on 131 444 or BankSA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. 

There were no injuries.
