Police are warning builders and construction site managers to secure their sites, following recent thefts of industrial equipment in the northern suburbs.

Since the end of March, there has been a spate of thefts from construction sites including Munno Para, Andrews Farm, Blakeview, Burton, Penfield and Waterloo Corner, with thieves targeting ‘Bobcats’ and other heavy industrial equipment.

Trailers and trucks have also been stolen, with a number of these items yet to be recovered by police.
