Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist police with their enquiries following an armed robbery of a taxi driver in Annerley on Saturday afternoon.
Information suggests that at around 5:30pm, a man has pulled a knife out and threatened the taxi driver and demanded cash on Broadmere Street, Annerley.
The driver has complied, and the man has fled the taxi and was last seen running towards Venner Road.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 183cms tall with short brown hair and appeared to have been involved in some sort of physical activity, as he was sweating and had scratches on his arms.
He was last seen wearing a dark coloured plain t-shirt, dark demin shorts, white sports shoes and had a dark coloured backpack.
Detectives believe the man lives in the local area.
