Police are searching for two men who robbed a grocery store in Upper Mount Gravatt last night.

It is believed just before 8pm, the two men entered the Freda Street premises and threatened a female staff member with a knife and demanded money.

They fled the scene with a sum of cash.

One man is described as being in his twenties, with a proportional build and dark complexion. He is around 183cm tall and was wearing dark sunglasses.

The other man is also described as being in his twenties and with a dark complexion. He is around 178cm tall with short black curly hair and was wearing a dark coloured shirt.

Police investigations are continuing.
