A police operation is underway in the city’s north-west to locate a woman alleged to have robbed a service station this morning.
About 8.20am (Tuesday 20 September 2011), police were called to the service station on Old Northern Road, Dural, following reports that a woman had threatened staff with a knife before escaping with a number of items.
The woman was last seen by a member of the public outside a fast-food restaurant on Old Northern Road, near Sebastian Drive.
A police operation is now underway to locate the woman. It involves officers from Eastwood and The Hills Local Area Commands, PolAir and a Dog Squad
The woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 21 years old, with a thin build and a shaved head. At the time of the incident, the woman was wearing white or bone-coloured cargo pants, a white T-shirt, a dark, sleeveless hoodie, and white sneakers.
