Police have arrested and charged a teenage boy for aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft at a licenced premises in Adelaide overnight.
At about 2.55am police were called to the Coopers Ale House on the corner of Pulteney Street and Carrington Street after multiple alarms were activated.
As police arrived, a male person was seen walking out of the hotel’s Carrington Street entrance with alcohol allegedly belonging to the hotel.
Cigars were also stolen.
The 17-year-old from Adelaide was arrested and patrols searched the vicinity with the possibility of locating a second suspect.
No further arrests were made at the time.
The teenager did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court later today.
