Police from Cabramatta Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed robbery at a hotel overnight.
About 10.40pm (Monday 26 September 2011) a man armed with a firearm approached a patron standing outside a hotel on the Hume Highway, Lansvale.
The man pointed the weapon at the 61-year-old man and walked him back inside the premises.
The armed man demanded the five patrons and staff member to get on the floor while he went behind the bar area and emptied the contents of the till and removed the safe.
The man ran from the premises and was last seen getting into a small blue car parked nearby.
A crime scene was been established and a full investigation is underway.
The man was described as being about 175cm tall with a solid build and wearing a white jumper, black gloves, black pants with a ‘Louis Vutton’ belt and a dark coloured cloth wrapped around his head.
He was carrying a ‘Louis Vutton’ shoulder bag.
