Police are investigating an alleged armed robbery with a ‘stun gun’ last night, in Sydney’s inner west.
About 8.45pm (Wednesday 28 September 2011), a man entered a business on Pyrmont Bridge Road at Camperdown.
He allegedly threatened a 24-year old male employee with a weapon, described as a stun gun, before demanding money.
The man then fled the store with an amount of cash, mobile phones, a wallet and cigarettes.
He was last seen getting into a black BMW sedan with another unknown person as the driver.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police from Leichhardt Local Area Command and forensic officers attended the scene.
They would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries. He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 185cm tall, of medium build and aged in his thirties.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants, a bandana and carrying a green shopping bag.
