September 30, 2011 – Update – Arrest – Armed Robbery – Deli – Elizabeth North

Swift work by Elizabeth police last night has led to the arrest of 36-year-old woman following a robbery at a deli at Elizabeth North.

At about 6.40pm, the woman allegedly threatened a shop assistant at a deli on Woodford Road escaping with cash.

Enquiries by Detectives from Elizabeth CIB last night lead to the arrest of the woman from Elizabeth North, who was charged with aggravated robbery and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 9 November.
