Police have arrested two people after the alleged theft of money from a taxi driver at Modbury.
It’s alleged that just before 5.00am the 17-year-old male from Hilton and the 22-year-old man from Brooklyn Park had a dispute with the taxi driver who stopped to let them out.
As they got out of the taxi, one grabbed the drivers’ money and they both ran off.
Police located them a nearby and both will appear in court at a later date.
