Police are waiting to interview a woman after she was injured when a glass was allegedly thrown at her face during a fight at a club at Sanctuary Point early this morning.

Police have been told a fight broke out between two groups of people sitting in a garden area of the club in Paradise Beach Road shortly after midnight.

A 32-year-old woman was taken to Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital where she was treated for cuts to the right side of her face and eye.

A crime scene was established and police are working with club security to identify the other woman involved.

They hope to interview the injured woman later today.
