October 10, 2011 – Armed Robbery – Bakery – Palm Beach

Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a bakery at Palm Beach earlier this morning.
Around 8am today a man entered the Palm Beach Avenue premises and produced a syringe while making demands for money.
The female shop attendant backed away from the counter and the man fled the premises empty handed.
He was last seen running along Palm Beach Avenue fleeing through the carpark of the Palm Beach Tavern.
The employee was not injured in the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his 40’s skinny build wearing sunglasses, a blue peaked cap, brown bomber jacket and dark trousers
