A man has been arrested following an attempt robbery at a service station in the city.
Just after 6pm, a man entered the Caltex Service Station on Hutt Street, allegedly threatened the console operator indicating he had a weapon and demanded cash.
The staff member refused and the suspect left handed, south on Hutt Street.
Eastern Adelaide patrols were quick to respond and found a man fitting the description of the suspect near the corner of Hutt Street and Carrington Street.
The 28-year-old man from Sellicks Beach was arrested and charged with attempt robbery he is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
