Police have arrested a man following an alleged armed robbery at Leumeah yesterday.
About 11.50pm on Monday 17 October 2011, a 58-year-old man was working at a service station on Rudd Road, when he was approached by a man.
The man threatened the store employee with box-cutters and a syringe, and stole several packets of cigarettes before running from the store.
Police were called and attended the location, conducting a canvass of the area and establishing a crime scene.
Following investigations into the incident police arrested a 31-year-old man about 5.40pm this afternoon (Tuesday 18 October 2011).
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon.
