Police have charged a 33-year-old Surfers Paradise man following investigations into three armed robberies on the Gold Coast this month.

On October 12 a man allegedly entered a Surfers Paradise Boulevard store and stole of sum of cash after threatening an attendant with a knife. 

On October 15 a man allegedly armed with a knife entered the Benowa Road store and stole a sum of cash after demanding money from an attendant.

Earlier today it is alleged around 10.40am a man armed with a knife entered a store on Benowa Road and made demands for money from the store employee.  The store employee refused to hand over any money and the man fled empty handed.

No one was physically injured during these incidents.

A 33-year-old man will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow, October 19 charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery.
