Police are appealing for information after an overnight robbery at a brothel in Bankstown.

About 11pm yesterday (19 May) two males, one of whom was armed with a knife, forced their way into the office of the Exceller Avenue building and threatened employees.

The men escaped with a quantity of cash and personal items belonging to staff.

No one was injured during the robbery.

One of the men was described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his early 20s and of medium build.

The second man, who was armed with the knife , has only been described as being approximately 177cm tall.
